This little bookshelf fit comfortably in a small space. I took me a long time to find the perfect shelf for this space, and I found it. It holds quite a few books which I was happy to get off the floor. It doesn't look like an MDF unit; it almost looks like white-painted wood, and it's sturdy which I appreciate. I did find it a bit difficult to put together, however; it didn't just snap into place. I had to use a mallet to pound the shelves into the sides that hold the shelf together. Later on, when I was emptying the box to recycle, a pair of white gloves fell out. Were these the magic gloves to put this shelf together without a mallet? Just wondering.Nice little bookshelf. Easy to assemble just needed a little elbow grease to push the pieces together. I don’t know how much I would trust it to hold a lot of things, but she’s good for a few books and some knic-knacks.This was easy to assemble and it's the perfect size for my husband's needs.Very easy to assemble and no tools required! Perfect for a nursery with small childrens books, but definitely not made to hold anything heavy. It’s texture is like a foam poster board for presentations but firmer. I used my hand to hammer down to get the shelf to fit in the groove and it cracked in a small area. That is all I took away a star for - definitely not very sturdy.Cute but flimsyI needed a small narrow table for a nightstand in a guest bedroom. This would not probably stand up to hard or constant use but it fit my need.I wanted a decorative piece for a small space, and this delivered.I needed something to put at the end of my counter in my galley kitchen for my cookbooks. This is the perfact size, and was super easy to put together. It is sturdy, attractive and gives my books a place off of the counter of my tiny kitchen.
