Strong, engaging, powerful and insightful are words that cannot describe enough this incredible book. At the End of the Storm is written by Marleen Pasch, a novelist and essayist graduated from Cornell University.It is a clear and very well narrated story; it is easy and quick to read. It catches your attention when you start reading the book. You just want to know what the next chapter will bring you. Without hesitation, I am going to read other titles of this author, as this book left me more than caught up in the story.The characters are very well described and each one has a great defined leadership personality. The protagonist of the story is Daria, a woman with a difficult life. She is divorcing, she’s lost her job and she has just discovered that her husband was spending her saving money. But things get worse when she gets to know that her teen daughter is pregnant.I’m giving this book five stars out of five because it is easy to read and difficult to forget.
