First of all, let's get the obvious out of the way: if you're scared of/hate assembling IKEA furniture, this is not the project for you. This is like hard-mode IKEA assembly; it took me more than an hour and everything in my house is IKEA so I'm practiced at assembly. Some things this does better: the screws and cam locks and dowels are all packaged in an organized plastic shell instead of all mixed together in a bag. All the parts are clearly labeled with little number stickers on the rough edge. The cam locks are all metal, instead of plastic. Now for the worse things: the dowels don't quite fit in the predrilled holes. They are not super loose, but they do fall out, so I added a dab of wood glue to each of them before assembling. The drawer tracks have multiple holes, so be sure to look at the diagrams to ensure you are screwing in the right holes, or the drawers will be out of alignment and you'll have to reinstall the tracks. The instructions themselves are just a bit confusing due to how small the images are/weird the angles and proportions of the drawings are, though it's by no means a deal breaker. Finally, you need a very short or right-angle Phillips head screwdriver to tighten some of the cam locks thanks to how the unit comes together.I can't speak for the sturdiness of the nightstand, because I always add wood glue to the seams and rough edges while assembling. This artificially reinforces the build, but it seems solid enough that the glue was probably unnecessary. The drawers slide smoothly and fairly quietly, although there is still a noticeable noise when opening them. It's a good size, but do check the measurements because it is small compared to traditional nightstands.I'm happy with the purchase overall, just be aware that this is a jigsaw puzzle and it will arrive in a thousand pieces.Just the right size for my bedroom. I've enjoyed how much hiding spots they hold. Along with how adorable they look .i really enjoy my nite stands very sturdy and lots of room,,,,.All the parts were included. No spare hardware so be careful. This nightstand is small, but it’s measurements are listed so I expected that. It took my boyfriend about an hour to put it together. The pieces are labeled with stickers. Some of the stickers came off, but the directions show a visual of the pieces so you can figure out what number the piece is fairly easy. The package was damaged, but all parts were in perfect condition and packed well with foam. I like that there are different shelves on it. I gave 4 stars because my boyfriend thought the instructions weren’t very clear.I love this little nightstand, it was relatively easy to put together, all the tools you need are in the box, it took me about 30 minutes to put it together. It's pretty sturdy and feels well built, not flimsy at all. I love all the little shelves and stuff. I have a bad habit of just leaving my large snack bags and take out drink-ups on my nightstand, so its small shelves make me clean up my snacks and drinks more regularly which is a good thing for me. I'll definitely be buying another one when I move and have more space for more.Bought a pair of these couple of months ago. Putting them together (which was simple) I noted that the finish was done very nicely. Almost to the end of assembling I found that one (out of eight) of the adjustable floor feet was missing. Bummer. I contacted the seller and they responded they would send as soon as possible. After a month figured that was the end of it. But, lo and behold, the did indeed send another entire set of feet. Sooo, that being said, they're nice. They do the job and not too expensive. No complaints at all.It was not easy to assemble. It is not nearly tall enough to use as a bedside table (ie nightstand). The drawers were shallow. The top piece is so narrow, a small lamp will not even set on it. There are no plugs for USB connevtions….my mistake for thinking there was. I has seen another one just like it with the built in ports, so I failed to read well enough that this wasn’t the one. I have chosen to use it in another facet for putting books on next to a tall backed easy chair for reading. As always with this type of furniture I had my reservations. However I was quite pleased in the end. Came on time, all the pieces and hardware was there, the instructions were halfway decent, and I was very surprised how well the drawers closed when assembled. For my situation it was perfect. -It took about an hour to assemble.-Two side notes : one is that a box of tissues literally fits like it was designed for it and two is during assembly, I always use wood glue on *everything* the joints, the seams, and especially where the hardware is. Even dousing the cam screws with glue so they will never loosen up. This will make any furniture 100% more sturdy.
