This took me 1 hour and 20 minutes total to put together. I noticed a few issues with the directions so I added pictures of my notes to this review! A few of the drawings were slightly incorrect (steps 1 and 2) and I also added a few tips for helping the building process go smoother (steps 4, 6, and 7).This is one of the larger options that I came across, which is what I was looking for. I picked this one because I wanted something big enough that my cat wouldn’t feel cramped while she’s doing her business. She can also see out of the slats when she’s in there, which might add to her comfort level. So far it seems sturdy, and I like the natural wood color look.I am going to add a little strip of foam/weather stripping to the bottom inside the door so that litter does not fall out when the door is opened. I’m also going to add some felt or a litter mat onto the step to catch any remnants as she’s walking out. I may also put a rug or litter catcher mat under the entrance on the floor as well. She’s a messy cat—this has nothing to do with the design. The veneer seems like it will be easy to clean if any accidents do happen or if it gets dirty.I haven’t put her litter box in there yet, but I will update the review when I do!
