I loved this book and greatly anticipate the sequel. The items that really stand out and make this novel shine: Excellent plot, well developed with a great potential for reality, which actually adds to the suspense. Good development of believable characters. There are few in life that are 100% good or evil and this book shows development, especially of the main character. Morals are also important to this story line. Finally, it has been said that about 80% of the US believes in God but there is certainly a minority of us that strongly feel that not only is there a god, but that He is actively working, both on the international stage and in individuals' lives. This book contains this spiritual dynamic, which again highlights the potential for reality. Even if you do not care for the idea of a loving, active God, the way that it is presented is not overly religious as to completely turn you off unless you are just completely hostile to the idea. For those of us who would like to see more of this element, it works quite well.Anticipating the sequel!
