We remodeled our enclosed porch in to a family room. It was previously taken over by our 2 cats and their litter boxes were out there. So something had to be done with the litter box! This was the perfect solution. I had to ease them in to going in to the enclosure by leaving the big door down for a week so they would get use to it but after I saw they would use it regardless of it being in this unit, I closed up the big door and they began using the small one. Clean up is easy with the big door. Only thing is, I have to write myself a reminder to dip the litter and change the pee pads! “Out of site, out of mind.” We use the tidy cat breeze system and their is very little odor. The enclosure makes this even better.It's definitely not flimsy particle board. It was very simple to assemble as well.I purchased this for my bunny. It’s a great fit, very easy to set up, and looks great.Was a little tricky to assemble to put the door on the opposite side from the instructions, but not bad at all.Directions were difficult to follow but the final product is nice. Very solid, easy to clean, and looks niceEasy to put together. Had it assembled in about 30 min. Very sturdy. I put a litter mat under the litterbox inside so I don’t have to sweep out the litter out of the bottom every day. But cats had no trouble using it. My biggest issue is my kitten wants to also use it as a place to lay in wait and pounce out on the other. I wish she wouldn’t lay in the litter box to do this. But not the fault of the litter box. Lol.This is such a welcome addition to my country casual decor. I know! It's a cat box cover, but no one would suspect what sits inside of this attractive cabinet. It is easy to clean and the cabinet can be put together to allow the cat(s) to enter from either side. I am well pleased with my purchase (and my fastidious cat has not complained, either)!I put the magnetic closure where indicated. They don't hold the door closed it appears the magnets are not close enough to the metal plates. They were I stalled based on the small pre drilled holes.
